Johnny “Butch” Sekmistrz of Wyandotte died Sept. 11 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Patrick and Aimee; and his siblings, Dianne Jones, Michael, Gary, Thomas, Debbi Orman, David and Patricia Young.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, at Czopek Funeral Directors, 2157 Oak St., Wyandotte. The funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, instate at 9:30 a.m. with Mass at 10 a.m.

Uncle Butch was a good guy he would do anything for anyone. I'm one of many nieces and nephews that he had. i can remember all the good things he has done for everyone. there was no bad times until the end.
