Wyandotte Native William "Bill" Drysdale Dies at 65

Wyandotte native William “Bill” D. Drysdale of Riverview died Nov. 17 at the age of 65.

Born Jan. 24, 1946 in Wyandotte to John and Rosemary (Maier), Drysdale was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Mount Carmel Usher’s Club. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife, Carol, and dog Maddie.

Drysdale is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons, Doug (Shanna) and Todd (Janel); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kelsey, Quinn, Jacob and Jonah. He is also survived by his brother Raymond (Jean) of Albion, and sister-in-law Patricia Przygocki of Wyandotte.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from noon to 9 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. rosary, at Czopek Funeral Directors, 2157 Oak Street, Wyandotte.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23, with 9:30 a.m. prayers at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. scripture service at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Wyandotte.
