Brothers are 'Detroit's Unconventional Filmmakers'

Wyandotte police Detective Scott Galeski and his brother, Daniel Jr., continue with their passion.

The Galeski brothers are being credited for having an exemplary "Downriver work ethic," according to a profile done on them by Detroit Live Magazine.

Wyandotte police Detective Scott Galeski and his brother, Daniel Jr., are in the midst of producing their first feature-length film, POOKERLAND.

The pair has been involved in filmmaking since childhood and, as of a few years ago, are seeing their work taking off as they have always hoped it would.

"All their films use local talent," the Detroit Live Magazine story says. "They are built around themes that are familiar to anyone who was born and raised here."
