Carlisle Fires up State Hockey Champs

Junior Jake Carlisle's hard work pays off for Bears, who won their first state hockey championship title on Saturday.

Jake Carlisle helped the Bears win their first state title on Saturday morning.

His individual hard work has not gone unnoticed this year.

“Jake is the most underrated player to ever come through Wyandotte,” hockey head coach Mike Quint said.  “He works hard in the corners and digs for the pucks.  He puts a fire into the team all the time.”

Carlisle scored the Bears' first four goals in the quarterfinal game.

The Bears defeated Brother Rice 4-1 to clinch the Division 2 state championship Saturday following a fantastic regular season.

My favorite teacher is Mrs. Blake because of all of her great stories about her kids.

I like golf and football.

I would go to Washington, DC, to see the President and Ovechkin.
