Library Wants to See Photos of 'Wyandotte at Night'

Bacon Memorial District Library is running a contest to find the best photo of the city at nighttime.

Bacon Memorial District Library is giving amateur photographers a chance to get rewarded for snapping a cool photo of a nighttime scene in Wyandotte.

In conjunction with the library's summer reading program, staffers are seeking photos showing Wyandotte at night.

Printed, 5-by-7-inch photos can be dropped off at the library's reference desk or mailed to the library at 45 Vinewood, Wyandotte, MI 48192, ATTN: Laura.

The contest is open to amateur photographers at least 16 years old. Entrants are allowed to submit one photo. There is no cost to enter. All entries must be received by 4:30 p.m. July 21. Photos will not be returned and become the property of the library.

All of the entries will be displayed at the library from July 23 to 28. Patrons will vote during that week for their favorite photo.

The winner will receive a $40 gift card to the Wyandotte restaurant of his or her choosing, along with a $20 gift card to MJR Theatres.

If you're entering this contest, we'd like to see your photo, too. Upload it to this story using the link above.
