Wyandotte Offers Trick-or-Treating Before Halloween

Here's a list of places families can go for free candy and fun before Oct. 31.

As Halloween approaches, youngsters’ thoughts turn to fun costumes — and candy. Here are a few trick-or-treating opportunities that fall before Oct. 31.

  • Wyandotte’s Downtown Trick-or-Treat will be 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. Families can visit downtown Wyandotte as select businesses hand out candy for little ones. Star Wars characters and Tinkerbell also will be roaming Biddle.
  • Trinity Lutheran Church & Community Center will have its second annual Trunk or Treat from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, at the church at 465 Oak St., Wyandotte. Everyone is welcome, and the free event will include candy, treats, a bounce house, crafts and refreshments. Children are encouraged to wear non-scary costumes, and adults can dress up, as well.
