With warm temperatures outside, hundreds of people lined Biddle for the annual tradition on Saturday.

After Friday night's annual Wyandotte tree lighting ceremony, hundreds of people lined Biddle on Saturday to keep the festive mood going.

The city's Christmas Parade strolled down Biddle, from Ford to Eureka. Those who lined the sidewalks were treated to many displays, such as clowns, floats and marching bands. As he does every year, Santa appeared at the end of the parade, putting smiles on the faces of all the good little boys and girls in the crowd.

Longtime Wyandotte business owner Joe Daly of Daly Merritt, Inc. was the grand marshal of this year’s parade.

Many families sitting at the end of the parade route were very disappointed that they didn't get to enjoy Wyandotte's High School Band's performance as the band didn't come to the end of the route. These people should have gotten to enjoy the same performance the rest of the parade watchers enjoyed. Marching bands are the highlight of a parade and many people in the community are supporters and participate in fundraisers. Skipping the end of the route was not the right thing to do.

Hey, mwp. Sorry to hear that happened. The Roosevelt football team had its state championship semifinal game yesterday in Gibraltar. The band had to travel to the game to play at halftime. Unfortunately, that meant them leaving the parade earlier than some would have liked. As it was, they arrived to the game with only minutes to spare. It looks like they stayed at the parade as long as they could. Sorry to hear that some people missed that performance, though.

Are you the band's lawyer, jabba? If the band was unable to complete the parade route due to errors in scheduling, there should have been notice given. What's more, who ever heard of marching in half a parade?!?! Are we sure we are even talking about the Wyandotte band? Wyandotte Patch has a habit of posting pictures of other bands and calling them Wyandotte...
