Wyandotte City Hall Building to Close Friday, New Building to Open Nov. 13

The current Wyandotte City Hall building will officially close on Friday. The new site, at 3200 Biddle, will remain closed on Monday, Nov. 12, and will open to the public on Tuesday.

The current Wyandotte City Hall building at 3131 Biddle will officially close on Friday.

The new City Hall, which is in the four-story, city-owned Chase Bank building across the street at 3200 Biddle, will be closed Monday, Nov. 12, to allow employees to get their workspaces set up. It will open to the public at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.

A new page has been added to the city’s website to provide current information and updates about the move.

One exception with the move is that all City Council and commission meetings will still take place in the council chambers of the old building, until further notice. Construction on the new council chambers has not been completed yet.

(Editor's note: This story was changed to reflect the correct addresses of both City Hall locations.)
