I attended last year when Eula Grooms was honored. A very classy and FUN event.

I forget. What exactly did Eula do to be chosen for this illustrious honor?

I also agree. When the website first came out...it was great for the first few years. It wasRead Moreperso nal and contained...only WYANDOTTE happenings. I have noticed less and less Wyandotte and/or Downriver content over the past year. But this year, I don't have interest in reading about Detroit, St. Clair Shores or cities outside the "Downriver Area". I have been monitoring it for the past 3 months and no longer pull it up on a daily basis to read. I'll give it another 30 days...if no improvement, I will "unsubscribe" to daily emails.

Last week on February 28, his mom posted an update as follows: "Today marks the 2 year markRead Moresin ce Jacobs accident. He has come such a long ways. We thank God everyday for helping Jacob with his recovery. And also, we still thank all of you. He's come so far in two years. He's talking /communicating 100%. Sometimes he likes to talk to much lol. He has gained his long term memory, and also his short term memory. (Doctors told us they didn't think he would get his short term memory back) but he did. He's a smart, bright, strong, caring young man. And we thank God that he's still here with us. Now Jacob just needs to focus on therapy. Learning to feed himself, sit-up, then stand , and hopefully soon walk! Thank you all for sticking by Jacob, praying and believing in him. God Bless you all. Let's pray that by next Feb 28 (on his 3rd year of recovery) he has all his next steps in therapy completed"
