The Wyandotte Jaycees presents its annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 7, at Bishop Park, by the Historic Log Cabin.
Plenty of activities are planned. Kids can get pictures taken with the Easter Bunny starting at 10 a.m. -- cost is $5 -- and face painting and bike raffles are planned.
The egg hunt is free and broken down into age divisions:
- 11 a.m.: Up to age 2
- 11:15 a.m.: Ages 3-4
- 11:30 a.m.: Ages 5-7
- 11:45 a.m.: Ages 8-10
Eggs will be stuffed with a mixture of candies and toys. There will be four Golden Ticket prize baskets to be won, and Mayor Joseph Peterson will hand those out.

More About Bishop Park
Bishop Park runs along the Detroit River. A boardwalk is available for sightseeing and a large fishing pier is popular among the anglers in the summer. The 12.2 acre park also has a concession stand, open picnic areas, two picnic shelters, restrooms, playground equipment and basketball courts. Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades and alcohol are banned in all city parks.
