BASF Employees Build Gifts for Needy Families

Employees from BASF Wyandotte's Supply Chain group constructed six bikes for needy families from the Downriver Guidance Center's River Rouge Walter White facility.

Employees at BASF used a team building exercise to provide needy children with new bicycles this holiday season, the company said today.

Through the exercise, the Wyandotte group split into teams and constructed six bikes for needy families from the Downriver Guidance Center’s River Rouge Walter White facility.

The Guidance Center maintains a collaborative relationship with local communities and schools by supporting adults and children experiencing mental health difficulties and other challenges. The center operates a wide range of programs and services at 23 locations, the agency’s website said.
