WHY DO PEOPLE JOIN THE RIGHT TO LIFE & FETAL DEVELOPMENT

Did you ever wonder why some people are so active when it comes to Right to Life of Michigan?  Of course I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m pretty confident that a majority of people simply like to help , to teach, to encourage others when it comes to not only the sanctity of life,  but the many areas of life that the Right to Life is involved with.

In a world where God is being pushed aside and replaced with crime, corruption, greed for money and power,  sex at unbelievable early ages, drugs, alcoholism, disrespect for the law, falling morals and ethics,  and people of religious views being persecuted all over the globe, I can’t think of a better way to put it but in the old adage, “I wondered why somebody isn’t doing anything about it, then I realized I was somebody”.

Be it a mother/daughter or father/son class called “God’s Plan for Growing Up” to share a healthy attitude about sexuality and marriage with adolescent children, an Oratory Contest or Infographic Contests for our youth, or by sitting with a young new mother with no family while she is in labor, and working with the Crisis Pregnancy Center to help with financial and emotional aid for women who need help.

Some of us just want women to know they have choices other than to abort.  Abortion can cause death of the mother, future infertility, horrible infections and health problems, and feelings of guilt and bereavement for many years to come.  According to the Centers for Disease Control, women who abort  in comparison to women who give birth,  are more likely to die from suicide, homicide or accidents by the following year.

Science knows the answers when it comes to the development of a human being from conception to the last natural breath, as you can see by the video.  Can you honestly believe after watching and reading this video that the fetus is really not a human being yet, capable of feeling the warmth of his/her mother’s womb, recognizing her voice, hearing sounds, created with the chromosomes of both mother and father, capable of feeling pain or pleasure as it sucks its tiny thumb, going to sleep and waking up to gaze around his/her temporary environment, embedded with divine energy,  having consciousness, and growing into an adult full of potential – do you still believe the fetus/baby is still not a human despite his/her heart beat and brain activity which can be seen and heard,  and does not have a soul?  If so, then ask yourself if God creates trees and flowers via a tiny seed, would He not do more for His children?

Are you going to choose to stay silent, because silence is part of the problem, not part of the solution.    Before you make up your mind, at least take the time to find out what Pro-life is all about.  There is a wonderful online class called “Pro-life 101” where you can learn about the history of the movement, fetal development, the risks of abortion, assisted suicides, as well as many other areas of the sanctity of life, and Planned Parenthood’s real agenda.  Visit http://www.rtl.org/ to find out when the next class will begin.  We don’t say “Believe us because we say so”, we say “Educate yourself and check facts.  Do your own homework”.  The Right to Life organization is based on provable facts, not propaganda, and for those who really care to know the truth, the Upper Downriver area has a fantastic resource center located at 2010 Eureka (in the small mall on Eureka and 20th Street), in Wyandotte.

Pray and consider helping us – let’s hold hands and work together.  We need community outreach volunteers, planning and helping with upcoming events and educational activities, and help us send out newsletters. If possible, make donations of baby or maternity items (new or slightly used), or volunteer at a Crisis Pregnancy Center.    For more information, please e-mail:   WyandotteRLM@gmail.com, or call (734) 288-878.
