14 Wyandotte Women to be Honored at Black Tie Gala

The women are being honored for helping their community, their family or someone else.

Fourteen Wyandotte women will be honored at a Woman of the Year Gala, co-hosted by Women of Wyandotte and the Wyandotte Jaycees.

The women are being honored for going above and beyond to help their community, their family or someone else.

The honorees will be recognized during a Feb. 16 black tie gala at . Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. and the awards presentation at 8 p.m. An afterglow party will be held at Portofino. 

The honorees are:

  • Tammy Torzewski Trudelle

Tickets are $50 each and include a sit-down dinner catered by Silver Shores Waterfront, drinks, entertainment and an art auction. 

For tickets, mail a check payable to Women of Wyandotte to P.O. Box 788, Wyandotte, MI 48192.

In addition to the gala, the women will be honored during the preceding week at a fashion show, lecture series and a hands-on arts class.
