Trees Get Blankets in Downtown Wyandotte

Get out there and see the seemingly random acts of art before they're gone Aug. 1.

City Council-approved art began springing up around Downtown Wyandotte early this week.

Wyandotte City Council members granted the Downriver Council for the Arts permission to decorate Downtown Wyandotte with temporary art installations from July 22 to August 1.

So far, trees were covered in interesting blankets, and long strips of wiring to make for a colorful break from the normal downtown scenery.

What is your favorite temporary art installation in Downtown Wyandotte? Tell us in the comments.
