Event Coordinator Invites You to 'Find Art' at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair

The street art fair runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Saturday on Biddle, between Eureka and Oak streets. The riverfront entertainment area on Elm Street runs from noon to 11 p.m. nightly.

Chances are you've attempted to hop on Biddle Avenue to do some shopping or dining in Downtown Wyandotte and ran into road closures.

Downtown Wyandotte is closed to traffic for the 2013 Wyandotte Street Art Fair.

Instead of cursing the orange barrels and angrily searching for an alternate route--take in the wealth of art and culture provided by the City of Wyandotte.

Special Event Coordinator Heather Thiede gave several reasons Thursday for residents to visit the Street Art Fair before it ends at 9 p.m. Saturday.

"Come on down and see us," Thiede said.

Thiede encouraged event patrons to participate in the Find Art in Wyandotte scavenger hunt to win a prize.
