Fundraiser to Aid Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured

The event includes hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, desserts, entertainment and a silent auction.

Money raised at a Thursday night fundraiser will help a Wyandotte clinic continue to offer free heath services for people with a job, but without insurance.

The annual Giving Hearts Celebration will benefit the Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured, which provides a variety of health care services to Downriver residents who are working but without medical insurance.

Services range from primary care office visits, including diabetes and hypertension management; women’s health checkup, pap smears and breast exams; podiatric services; nutrition counseling; work physicals and referrals. Patients must be at least 18 years old with proof of current employment with no medical insurance benefits.
