Get Pets Vaccinated Sunday at Low-Cost Clinic

Discounted vaccinations, pet IDs and licenses, nail-trimming and obedience tips will all be offered at the clinic hosted by Wyandotte Animal Pound.

Looking for a low-cost way to keep your pets healthy and up-to-date on their vaccinations? The is hosting its annual low-cost vaccination clinic 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at the .

A licensed veterinarian from Pet Care Hospital will be at the clinic to give rabies, distemper, Bordetella and leptospirosis vaccines for $12 per vaccine. Records of previous vaccinations are only required if you wish to get a three-year rabies vaccination for $14.

There are no appointments and cash only will be accepted.

Downriver Dog Obedience will be on hand to answer questions about pet temperament and training. Grace's Best Friends Grooming will offer nail trims and ear cleanings for $10.

Custom-engraved pet identification tags can be purchased and created while you wait. After getting pets vaccinated, Wyandotte residents can take care of licensing their cats and dogs, too.
