Wayne County Construction Close Area Roads This Weekend
Here's a roundup of road closures and construction around southeast Michigan this weekend.
The following construction activities are scheduled for the weekend beginning Friday, Dec. 6, and ending Monday, Dec. 9. Parade closures are included in the list. Some of this work may be postponed due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances.
M-1 (Woodward):
In Wayne County, Woodward will close between I-94 and Warren Avenue, Saturday from 3 pm to 11 pm for the annual Noel Night festivities.

US-12 (Michigan Avenue):
Michigan Avenue will close from Wayne Road to Newberry Street, Friday 6 pm to 7 pm, for parade.

MONDAY
I-275 northbound at Joy Road will have a single lane closure, Monday, 9 am to 3 pm, for utility work.
I-75, both directions, between Clark Street and Pennsylvania Road, will have moving lane closures, Monday, 9 am to 3 pm, for maintenance.
I-75, both directions, between Mack Avenue and I-375, will have right lane closures Monday and Tuesday, from 9 am to 3 pm, for bridge work.
