Sample Dozens of Soups on Wednesday for $8
The 19th annual Soup Day, which raises money for the Wyandotte Salvation Army's food pantry, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-Southgate.
Soup eaters, Wednesday is the food version of the Oscars.
The 19th annual Soup Day, which raises money for the Wyandotte Salvation Army's food pantry, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-Southgate.
Tasting stations will be set up in a ballroom at the Holiday Inn, where dozens of different types of soup were served. For an $8 donation, you receive a plastic spoon and permission to roam the room and sample as many soups as you'd like.

About 530 soup eaters helped raise more than $4,700 at last year's event.
