VIDEO: A Fresh Snowfall as Seen Through a Photographer's Lens

Tuesday's snow left motorists clutching the wheel and children hoping for a big accumulation.

Old man winter had his sights on Wyandotte on Tuesday as a winter storm blew into the city with all the tenacity it could muster.

The city was quickly blanketed in a sea of white, and the wind made sure it was evenly spread in every nook and corner.

While walking along , the Detroit River resembled a sea of ice as it stood nearly motionless from the frigid cold.

Anxious and attentive drivers seemed to tiptoe down the streets, driving carefully on their way to their destinations. Pedestrians were few and far between, with the exception of one die-hard jogger spotted running down Eureka.

If the children these days are anything like I was when I was a young man, they prayed the white stuff never stopped and that the joy of a snow day would follow, freeing them up to adventure within the new winter wonderland that has overtaken Wyandotte.
