Wayne County Drivers Can Expect Weekend Delays

The Michigan Department of Transportation cited road work this weekend on local freeways and roads.

Wayne County motorists can expect delays this weekend on Interstate 94, as construction will prompt a lane closure between Moross Avenue to French Road.

According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, I-94 westbound will have a single-lane closure from 9 p.m.-9 a.m. Friday and Saturday for lighting and sign work between the two roads.

Both directions of Telegraph Road between Van Horn and West roads will also have single-lane closures beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Sunday for pavement work. In the Dearborn Heights area, southbound Telegraph Road just north of Van Born Road will have a right-lane closure from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, MDOT stated in a news release.
