For the second time in less than a week, Wyandotte has declared a snow emergency.

"If you are able, please look in on and/or assist your friends and neighbors who may not have the means or ability to move snow or their cars," the city said on its Facebook page. "Let's show everyone what a wonderful community we have. Stay warm and be safe, friends!"

Students throughout Wyandotte Public Schools were set to return to classes Monday following winter break, but their time away is extended a day after the school district called for a snow day Monday.
