In wake of Friday morning's deadly shooting , there will be a candlelight vigil on Sunday in Wyandotte.
The vigil is being sponsored by the city of Wyandotte and Women of Wyandotte, a local nonprofit organization led by City Councilwoman Sheri Sutherby-Fricke.
"There are a lot of people who are very, very upset by what's happened," Sutherby-Fricke said. "In times like this, I think they need to be together."
The event begins at 5 p.m. at BASF Waterfront Park. Members of Wyandotte's religious community will lead the prayer vigil at 5:30 p.m.
People are asked to bring their own candles.
