A Christmas Treat Comes to Wyandotte This Week

The AKT Theatre Project will perform 'Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!)' over the next two weeks at the Wyandotte Arts Center.

Get ready for a hodgepodge of Christmas goodness, all rolled into a single 90-minute performance.

The AKT Theatre Project will perform its Christmas show, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), over the next two weeks at the

“Instead of performing Charles Dickens' beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, three actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told, plus Christmas traditions from around the world,” AKT Artistic Director Angie Kane Ferrante said in a press release.

“(There will be) seasonal icons from ancient times to topical pop-culture, and every carol ever sung. A madcap romp through the holiday season.”

The performance features Wyandotte’s own Jeremy St. Martin, Jon Pigott and Jack Hundley.

The show opens with a special “pay what you can” preview at 7 p.m. Thursday. Regular show times are 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 11. There will be an additional late night performance at 9 p.m. this Friday only.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
