A Visitor's Guide to the 2011 Wyandotte Street Art Fair

Here are the highlights of everything you need to know to enjoy the 50th annual fair.

Summer is in full swing with the arrival of the 50th annual .

The art fair runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday on Biddle, between Eureka and Oak streets. The entertainment area on Elm Street runs until 11 p.m. nightly.

Parking

There are 300 parking spaces available. A free shuttle will leave every 10 minutes from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. The shuttle will drop people off at the intersection of Eureka and Biddle.

Oak and First streets
The Wyandotte Business Association operates this paid lot.

Biddle between Pine and Plum streets
The Wyandotte Boat Club Youth Rowing Downriver Program operates this paid lot.

First between Superior and Chestnut streets
St. Patrick Catholic Church Parents Club operates this paid lot.

All paid lots are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Free concerts will rock the riverfront area off Elm Street day and night throughout the four-day fair. The lineup printed in the official fair directory has changed. Here is the revised list of acts:

Beer Tent

The beer tent is located near the entertainment stage, on the riverfront between Elm and Oak streets. The Wyandotte Jaycees run the tent.

Lemonade Stands

Booth 1 (between Oak and Elm streets)

Wyandotte Figure Skating is running the booth Wednesday and Thursday. Team Polaire is operating it on Friday and Saturday.

Booth 2 (between Oak and Elm streets)
The Wyandotte Kiwanis Sunrise is running the booth Wednesday and Thursday. Komaki Student Exchange is operating it on Friday and Saturday.

Booth 3 (on Biddle near Maple)
The Wyandotte Lions Club is running the booth Wednesday and Thursday. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is operating it on Friday and Saturday.

Booth 4 (between Maple and Sycamore streets)
The Wyandotte Cheerleaders are running the booth Wednesday and Thursday. Wyandotte Music Boosters is operating it on Friday and Saturday.

Booth 5 (between Sycamore and Eureka)
The Wyandotte Kiwanis 1000 is running the booth Wednesday and Thursday. Wyandotte Wildcats are operating it on Friday and Saturday.
