Christmas Tune Shot in Downtown Wyandotte

Downtown Wyandotte served as the backdrop for the Christmas ditty, The Little Electro Boy.

Brion Dodson of Captive 8 Productions directed, shot and edited the video. Steve Sholtes of Sholtesound wrote and produced the music for the video. He also starred in the 3 1/2-minute production, red suit and all.

The video was shot along Biddle during the Dec. 16 Third Friday celebration. An indoor scene was filmed at , where Sholtes has been running Monday night open mic nights.

"Santa lays down some phat beats and hits the streets with his little drummer boy inspired Christmas parody," the video's YouTube description says. "Wyandotte's never seen such Festivus! Special thanks to all of our caffeinated extras and Tongue's Espresso Bar for permitting our impromptu dance party."
