The Women of Wyandotte (WoW), a nonprofit organization, is partnering with the Wyandotte Jaycees for the first-ever Woman of the Year Gala.
It will take place at the Downriver Council for the Arts, and the them is "I Love Wow," with a special recognition planned for Lucille Ball, who lived in Wyandotte when she was a little girl.
Tickets are $30 and include a strolling dinner catered by Portofino's of Wyandotte, dessert, cocktails, art, and an awards show, followed by an afterglow party at Portofino's. Plus, they'll be rolling out the red carpet for this event.
