Check out one of the artists whose work will be on display during the Wyandotte Street Art Fair.

More than 250 artists from around the country will descend upon the city to sell their creations at the 50th annual on July 13-16. As part of our continued coverage of the fair, Wyandotte Patch is highlighting select artists.

What do you sell? My photographs will be the main item in my booth, with subject matter varying from landscapes to flowers to animals. Photos are printed, matted and framed in my home. Premium photo paper and acid-free mats are used to preserve the image. Blank note cards also will be available depicting some of the same subject matter seen in the photos. In addition, my Lighthearted card collection (also blank note cards), showing some whimsical scenes, will be hanging on a panel. And finally, Maria Martin–Forget Me Not is a biography written by myself and my sister, with restored photos, depicting the life of Maria Martin, my mother, and her challenging journeys.

What is your booth number at this year's fair? 80

Out of all the fairs in the country, why do you choose to participate in Wyandotte’s? I have heard good things about the Wyandotte fair. I also was interested in participating in a fair for a longer period than a weekend.

Tell us an interesting tidbit about yourself or your work. People have always told me I had an eye for photography. In pursuing photography as an interest, I took multiple photography classes at Washtenaw Community College. Havlik-Dabs Photography came into being 2 1/2 years ago, while beginning to frame one of my photos for my home. It never got on my wall. My photos are now shown at Michigan art fairs. And the cobbler's children have no shoes.
