"It's a BYOB class. We have calendars built and each night we feature a different painting," said owner Cathy Bontadelli.

"People can just go on the website, pick out a painting they want to learn to create and make a reservation. Everyone follows an instructor and paints the painting that is featured that evening. They are guided step-by-step through the entire painting."

At the end of the night, everyone gets to take the creations home.

"It's been a ton of fun. We have a great time," Bontadelli said.

Pips also offers kids painting classes on Saturdays.

"Pips Painting Pub compliments the fact that Wyandotte is a hidden arts community," said Wyandotte DDA Director Natalie Rankine.

"It's a destination business. People are coming to Wyandotte to go to the classes to paint and have a great time with friends," Rankine added.

All of the supplies are provided with the cost of attending the classes. Adult classes are offered Monday through Friday.
