More than 50 artists will pay tribute to those who inspired them at exhibit that begins Friday in downtown Wyandotte.

will host an exhibit entitled “Homage” that showcases artists paying tribute to the people and things that have influenced their craft.

More than 50 artists will have their works featured in the exhibit that opens Friday, Feb. 17, and runs through March 16 at the gallery, which is located on 3024 Biddle Street.

“This is an unusual show because it is not juried,” the River’s Edge Gallery director Jeremy E. Hansen said in a press release. “It is an open call and includes well established and emerging artists as well as artists that we have never shown. It is a variety medium and approaches that you would rarely see in any art exhibit.”
