Roosevelt Students Drum Up Excitement for the Downriver Day of Percussion in Wyandotte

The Downriver Day of Percussion is set for 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday with a concert featuring Kid Rock's percussionist Larry Fratangelo to follow.

Wyandotte Roosevelt High School students offered a taste of what guests can expect to see and hear at the Downriver Day of Percussion.

The daylong event is set for Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a concert featuring one of to follow.

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at the high school. Admission is $5.

Percussion classes and clinics take place throughout the day with instruction from several well-known musicians. Registration is $20.
