Bank of America to Close Wyandotte Branch

Customers who bank at this location were notified 90 days prior to closing.

Bank of America said Wednesday that it plans to close the Wyandotte branch on March 28, in order to bring store coverage in balance with market opportunity.

Customers were notified by mail 90 days prior to the closure.

Diane Wagner, senior vice president of media relations, in an email Wednesday, said every year, the bank evaluates and adjusts distribution.

“The nearest banking center to this location is our Southgate, MI branch, 13763 Northline Rd., which is less than three miles away,” she said.

Wagner said the move would not affect employment within the company.

“My understanding is that there is no job loss and we provide a variety of assistance including helping employees find employment opportunities within the company.”
