BASF in Wyandotte Raises $15K for Michigan Multiple Sclerosis

BASF employees were given an opportunity to dunk their managers into a large tank of water to raise funds for Michigan Multiple Sclerosis.

There are several ways to raise funds for a good cause. BASF in Wyandotte came up with a fundraiser with a unique twist.

During an on-site carnival, employees were given an opportunity to dunk their managers in a large tank of water by throwing softballs at a target.

But, was this approach effective? Employees raised more than $15,000 for Michigan Multiple Sclerosis. Managers got wet. So, yes.

"We had a great time at the carnival and the sun came along as well for an
added bonus," said Marika Diamond, communications director. “This event
brought site employees together to raise money that will go towards
research for a cure and to helping people living with the disease that
attacks the nerve system."
