Overview: The restaurant has both a dining room and a lounge area. Smokies dining room is often described as “casually upscale,” although nothing more than casual attire is required. The lounge area has the feel of a local tavern, complete with bar stools, TVs and the Michigan Lottery Keno game available. Restaurant menu options can satisfy diners looking for specialty dishes and those looking for traditional favorites, such as burgers or pizza.

The Scene: A wide range of diners can be found at Smokies, including area professionals having lunch, couples on a date, groups of friends or families having dinner outside the house for a night. A comfortable atmosphere, along with TVs, makes the lounge popular with sports fans at times, especially on the day of a big game.

The Drinks: Mixed drinks and a large selection of domestic and imported beers can ordered in both the dining or lounge area. A wide variety of different wine selections are available by the glass or by the bottle. Drink specials are also offered on select days during the week.

Two steaks are the 12-ounce Ribeye ($13.99) and the 8-ounce House Sirloin ($9.99). Smokies Ribs come in a half-slab ($12.99) or full-slab ($16.99).
