Bites Nearby: Solero Cafe

Cozy diner has separate bar area and a place for live entertainment.

Here's this week's choice:

Greatest Dish Ever: Moussaka, thinly sliced layered eggplant, potato and prime ground beef, seasoned with special spices and topped with béchamel cheese sauce ($10.50).

Don’t Miss: Wild mushroom burger, stuffed with wild mushrooms and topped with Swiss cheese ($7.95).

Overview: Serving a unique blend of worldwide cuisines, Solero Cafe has a flavor for every palette. Whatever the occasion, they offer a spacious dining room with comfortable seating for birthday parties, holiday gatherings and the like.

Décor: Dine-in on the patio or enjoy the cozy indoor atmosphere. Carryout and delivery also are available.

The Drinks: Soda, various espresso beverages and a full bar.

Appetizers: Whether it's soup, salad or something else, Solero Cafe will serve it up. Options include saganaki ($6.75), spinach artichoke dip served with warm pita bread ($5.75) and grilled goat cheese and prosciutto salad ($7.95).

Entrees: Fish and chips ($9.95), Yiouvetsi (individually baked casserole of lean choice beef cooked in tomato sauce with orzo pasta topped with Romana cheese, $10.50) and garlic shrimp pasta ($14.95). There's also a kids menu (12 and under, $4.95).

Sides: Solero rice ($2.50), fresh vegetables ($2.50), house fries ($2.50), tsatziki ($1.39), hummus ($1.25), guacamole ($1.29), grilled pita bread ($1.20), extra sauce ($0.75) and corn chips ($1).
