Fine Things is packed with unique items that make great wedding, birthday and anytime gifts.
Patch wanted to know the five most interesting items at Five Things. Owner Debby Ouelette of Grosse Ile picked her favorite items that best represent her store.
After Ouelette retired from Ford Motor Company she decided to take a little savings and open a gift shop in Wyandotte.
"I used to work in a gift store and I missed the atmosphere," Ouelette said.
Ouelette said she loves having a business in Wyandotte.
"Wyandotte is great," Ouelette said. "(It's a) great community to be in."
Here's a list of the top five items at Fine Things, 110 Sycamore:
1. Beatriz Ball aluminum serving dishes. All dishes and utensils are safe for baking, chilling and serving. The items are made by hand and no two are the same.
2. Hand-painted tiles by Premier Tiles.
3. Costume jewelry.
4. Novo Beads. All beads are made in America and fit all major brands.
5. Home decor.
