A Save-A-lot location in Wyandotte is set to close on or before Sept. 19.
Save-A-Lot is a Michigan-based business with headquarters in Coldwater.
Frequent shopper Sandy Nance, of Wyandotte, said she hates that the store is closing.
"It's so handy," Nance said. "My son comes here, too."
Nancy said she believes many of the people living near the Save-A-Lot will be disappointed when the store closes.
The Save-A-Lot is located at 3901 Fort Street.
A representative of Save-A-Lot authorized to speak on the matter could not be reached for comment.
