Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital CEO Elected to National Hospital Board

Denise Brooks-Williams joined Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in February 2013.

The American Hospital Association (AHA) has elected Denise Brooks-Williams,
President and CEO of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, as a Section for Health Care Systems delegate and member of Regional Policy Board 5.

The appointed is effective Jan. 1, 2014.

The Regional Policy Boards meet three times a year to discuss policy issues and alternatives. Their recommendations and analyses are used by the AHA Board of Trustees in its policy deliberations.

Denise Brooks-Williams joined Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in February 2013. She was formerly president and chief executive officer of Bronson Battle Creek in Battle Creek and has also held various leadership positions with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital and the Detroit Medical Center. Brooks-Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in health services administration, both from the University of Michigan.
