Pflum Takes Over at BASF

Greg Pflum is the new general manager at BASF following the retirement of J.D. Purvis.

It’s official: BASF has a new general manager.

Greg Pflum of Chicago took over as the new vice president and general manager of BASF on Thursday .

Pflum had served as the vice president of nutrition and health for the North American operations of Cognis, which was recently acquired by BASF, according to a news release from the company.

Purvis retired on Wednesday after working 38 years with BASF.
