Popular Wyandotte Business Closes, Community Wonders Why

Several people commented on a Facebook post left on the Wyandotte restaurant's Facebook page alerting the public of the business's closing.

A popular restaurant closed the doors for good Wednesday, according to Natalie Rankine, director of the Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority.

Michelangelo's Italian Bistro, located at 152 Elm Street in Wyandotte, is closed.

A recent post on the restaurant's Facebook page was a photo of a "Sorry We're Closed" sign.

More than 45 friends of the page commented on the photo Wednesday night.

Some comments included:

  • Aimee Rea: I'm sad I really like your place.
  • Cheryl Simon: Whyyyyyy?
  • Jessi Adkins: Dislike.

Rankine said she did not know why the restaurant closed.
