Wyandotte Business Women Are 'Healing the Heart Through Reiki & Art'

Healing the Heart Through Reiki and Art opened in Wyandotte in February and new pieces of art are constantly being displayed in the art studio and healing center.

Healing the Heart Through Reiki and Art serves two purposes, according to co-owner and Grosse Ile resident Nicole Rainville-Camilleri.

Rainville-Camilleri, 44, said the business can heal people with any number of ailments through her art and her business partner's mastery of Reiki.

Wyandotte resident Mary Sparks Rohde, 54, is a master of Reiki, and while art is being created downstairs, clients can experience stress reduction and relaxation through natural healing upstairs.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing, according to Reiki.org.

Rainville-Camilleri said the two plan to begin teaching yoga and belly dancing, as well.
