La Perle Hookah Lounge Owners Happy in Wyandotte

La Perle Hookah Lounge opened in August. The owners said they are happy with the business they have had so far.

La Perle Hookah Lounge owners, Sanaa Rizk and Anja Dinion, said they are pleased with their first few months of business in Wyandotte.

The hookah lounge opened in August. Dinion is from Trenton and they decided on the location in Wyandotte with hopes to draw large crowds to their business.

They are located at 121 Maple Street and are open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. every day.

She said they have non-Wyandotte residents at the hookah lounge often.

"We have people from all over the area. It's nice to know we're attracting some people not from right here. We have some regulars from Dearborn and other neighboring cities," Rizk said.

They added that they are looking forward to celebrating their first holiday season in Wyandotte. La Perle is having their first-ever Christmas party Friday night.

"We're just really excited to be here," Rizk said.
