Snow + Half Day of School = Fun in the Park
Elementary school students spent their Monday afternoon sledding and enjoying the snow.
Students from Monroe and Washington elementary schools had a half day of school Monday so that their teachers could get in some professional development.
The children may have heard the reasoning behind it, but to them, it didn't matter. A half day is a half day!
Some of them bundled up and took to Bishop Park to enjoy the afternoon and piles of snow left over from the weekend.
