Ever wish you could help pick what topics were being discussed at church each week?
Parishioners at , along with Wyandotte Patch readers, now have that very chance.
Throughout May, Wyandotte Family Church is letting people nominate what topics they’d like to see addressed. The ideas that get the most votes will be discussed at the church’s weekly Sunday morning sessions throughout June.
“No topics are off limits and no question is off limits,” Pastor Jeremy Gyorke said. “We will simply pick the topic that got the most votes.”
He said he’s hoping that the general public, in addition to his own parishioners, take the time to vote and help set the tone for the types of messages delivered at his church.
Gyorke has never shied away from controversial topics at his church, having last year gained wide media exposure
In addition to covering pornography, his church addressed a number of other “hot topics” last year, including gambling, alcoholism and homosexuality.
