The day may only come around once every four years, but Feb. 29 is now the day for Sean and Emily Street of Allen Park.

More specifically, 4:29 p.m. Feb. 29, 2012.

That's when Emily delivered the couple's son, Carter William Street, making him Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital's 2012 Leap Year baby.

Carter weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and stretched 19 inches long.

Hospital spokeswoman Stephanie Scheer said mom and baby are doing great.
