Wyandotte Man Went Above and Beyond to Pull Resident from Burning Building

Last year, Jim Sneed rescued a resident from a burning building. Tell us about other people in Wyandotte who go the extra mile to help make a difference.

Jim Sneed went above the call of duty to help out a Wyandotte resident in need.

Last year, Sneed—a service technician from Wyandotte Municipal Services—pulled a resident from a burning home on the 400 block of Cedar.

“We have an exciting job, but not exciting like this,” Sneed said last year. “I hope someone would come in after me if I was in there. ... I just did my duty. I didn’t really think about it. I just did it and then took off back to work.”
