Wyandotte Under Winter Storm Watch Thursday

Snow will continue Friday morning, with several more inches of accumulation possible.

Forecasts call for 2-5 inches of snow in Wyandotte starting Thursday evening, resulting in a Winter Storm Watch being in effect through Friday morning.

According to a hazardous weather outlook and winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, a strengthening low pressure system will move into the southern Great Lakes region on Thursday.

The heaviest snow is expected after 8 p.m. Thursday, according to the NWS. Snow may mix with sleet at times, but overall is expected to result in 1-3 inches of accumulation overnight. The snow will continue Friday morning, with several more inches of accumulation possible.
