Community Corner

Jay Stuart Dinner Dance

It is a wonderful night out!  Doors open at 6pm, beer and wine will be served and a delicious buffet dinner begins at 7pm.  Our musical program will feature the "Alumni and Friends" Band, a 20-piece big band composed of talented musicians from across Michigan.  These musicians so look forward to playing this event, and their enthusiasm and expertise is electrifying!  Supporting acts will include the RHS Jazz Ensemble, a combo of DYS and Detroit Civic Jazz musicians, and even our students from Wilson will be starting the evening off with a few of their numbers.  The crowd is there to have fun and listen to some excellent music.  We'll raffle door prizes throughout the evening for some extra excitement.
This evening to benefits the Jay Stuart Music Scholarship fund, which assists Wyandotte students with the costs associated with music education...be it lessons, workshops, camps, etc.  Economic times are tough for families with children, and the Scholarship gives them the opportunity to participate in an activity, music, that will bring richness and benefit to their lives for many years to come.
Tickets are only $30 each.  Two beverages are included, and additional beverages are $2 each.  We put on an excellent dinner and provide a superlative evening of entertainment. This is an evening out that's well worth the price of admission!
