Free Mammograms Oct. 19 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital

Free mammograms will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, 2333 Biddle Ave.

The Yes Ma’am breast cancer screening began in 1999 to provide free mammograms for Downriver women without medical insurance.
To date, thanks to the Yes Ma’am programs, health care professionals have performed more than 900 free mammograms in the Downriver community.

 Women must meet certain criteria to receive a mammogram:
•    No health insurance coverage
•    Mammogram necessity determined by physician at time of exam
This is only a screening program. Patients with additional needs will be referred to alternative program.
