$1,150 Raised for Local Cancer Patient
21 people have helped Lori Dewey reach nearly 40 percent of her goal in one month.
Online fundraiser GoFundMe.com has brought in $1,150 to help Downriver resident Lori Dewey with her battle against lung cancer.
Janette Parish of Wyandotte created the fundraiser in October for those who were unable to attend Dewey's recent benefit.
“Hello everyone…we are having a fundraiser for Lori to help with the financial burden…of this evil disease…anything at all would be greatly appreciated,” the fundraiser said.
